I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, safe, and had a traditional Japanese feel. The location couldn't have been better - right in the center, next to the morning market, and with a lovely view of the river. I was able to easily walk to all the attractions I wanted to see in this city. The hotel facilities were great, including the little onsen and the convenient free parking. The breakfast was delicious, offering a truly traditional Japanese experience. The staff, especially the owner's daughter, were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout my stay.
All was good.

The location of the ryokan was fantastic, with a river bridge right outside the door. This made it super easy to explore the town and visit all the sights. The free bike loan was a great perk, allowing me to cycle around and see everything at my own pace. Although the bikes were single gear and a bit challenging on the hills, the thrill of freewheeling down was worth it.
One drawback of this ryokan was the lack of clear communication regarding check-in and check-out times. Upon arrival, we were told the check-in time was 3:00 PM, but no one was available at the ryokan until 4:00 PM. we were told to check out at 6:00 AM, but no one was present at that time either, forcing us to leave our payment in the room and check out on our own.
